Challenge yourself with our fun, fast, flat scenic, and family-friendly marathon.  Whether you’re trying to qualify for Boston, looking for the perfect first marathon, or anywhere in between, the Empire State Marathon in Syracuse is the perfect combination of New York State at peak autumn foliage, beautiful views of the east and west shores of Onondaga Lake, and a flat and fast course!

Due to $30 million is renovations to NBT Bank Stadium, we’ll be starting and finishing the race outside of the stadium this year, but be sure to stick around after the race to party at the finish festival.  Celebrate with finishers from all distances, rock with live bands, and pick up some amazing ESM gear to remember the race.
